EL ASESINO SIN ROSTRO, la serie documental de seis partes que estrena en HBO y HBO GO el domingo 28 de junio a las 23hs, es una historia inquietante sobre la determinación de una mujer, Michelle McNamara, por exponer la verdad sobre el depredador que azotó California, al que denominó “el asesino de Golden State”. HBO invita a su audiencia a expandir su experiencia fuera de la pantalla, descubriendo la fascinante historia detrás del documental con un podcast especial llamado EL ASESINO SIN ROSTRO: EL PODCAST. Compuesto por seis episodios, el podcast se lanzará a partir del 29 de junio con nuevos episodios cada lunes.
EL ASESINO SIN ROSTRO: EL PODCAST es un profundo recorrido por la increíble historia del caso y la obsesión de Michelle McNamara por encontrar al autor de los crímenes que la llevaron a escribir el manuscrito que se convertiría en un best seller luego de su muerte. Al final de la emisión de cada nuevo episodio del documental en HBO, los conductores Fiorella Sargenti y Santiago Calori llevarán esta historia más allá, analizando cada detalle de la producción: el género del true crime, las pistas seguidas por McNamara, sus compañeros de investigación, su obsesión con el caso, su conflicto con las adicciones, su trágica muerte, el camino de su marido, el actor Patton Oswalt, por dar luz al trabajo de su esposa y la reconstrucción de Liz Garbus, directora del documental, para llevar este caso a la pantalla de HBO.
